18 Plays For Colts Pats

For your listening pleasure, 18 Plays is ready.  We discuss all things related to Sunday night's Colts/Pats classic.  You can click the link, listen in the embedded player below, or subscribe via Itunes.

18 Plays is brought to you by Broad Ripple Tree Service.  Broad Ripple Tree:  for all your tree needs.

Just a note, we'll probably go with written versions of 18 Plays the next couple of weeks.  I'm going on vacation, and will try to curtail some of my 18to88 activities ever so slightly.  The podcast, while fun, is also time consuming, and I'm not sure I'll have great access to the tape or a decent skype connection.  So that's a long winded way of saying, "Enjoy this one.  It could be awhile".

Before the fumble in the endzone: The Patriots had the fewest fumbles in the league with 6... and the fewest lost with 2.

Good - I prefer the written versions anyway. Can't listen to podcasts, nor do I really want to. But I can read as much as I want...

This is all I'll say about it, and I won't respond to whatever you have to say because I'm over it, it's not that big of a deal, and we've moved on.

I thought the PI call was a little ticky tacky, I watched it on film several times as well, I thought Butler (or Wilhite?) had position, looked for the ball (which is what you always hear) and impeded Collie's progress simply by covering the route well.

Also - don't throw flags like that in the 4th quarter of a blockbuster game like Pats/Colts.

Let them play.

Still - that didn't win or lose the game and I thought the officiating was fair on both sides, they let all kinds of s**t go and that's fine by me.

This is what I really wanted to say: In 2006 I traded a 22 year old, unknown, Double-A, skinny kid with upside named Tim Lincecum for a couple of high priced closers that I cut at the end of the year.

Keeper league.

Whoops.

Want holding flags thrown every time it happens.

Please convey to this morons that it's not good for the NFL to have teams in 2nd and 50 on the reg.

It's just not.
Better 18 plays this week

I think Indy was lucky to escape with a W last week, but expect them to put up a lot of points against a struggling Ravens D (shutout against the Browns doesn't count for much).

I've got Indy by 4 this week.

there is this weird muffling and echo sound that made it hard to hear, especially on DZ's side. I'm not sure if you can fix it, but I thought I'd let you know.
