If I remember correctly, the book The Blind Side ends with the author talking with Dwight Freeney about Michael Oher.

Pretty cool that they're finally playing each other. - iansb

We typically have pass-pro problems versus the 3-4. It makes Manning's job a lot harder. So, I wouldn't say Manning struggles versus the 3-4, just that he is more challenged by it due to the smaller throwing window he gets. There are counterexamples, such as Baltimore, but against Pitt, SD, and the early-decade Patriots, it has been an issue. - Guy.

1) Great visual
2) Ngata--I thought he was no sure thig to start either? Dreaming?
3) During last week's game my wife was almost physically sick about how hard they were pushing The Blind Side. I think Costas was on a "word count" and every 35 or so words he had to refer to the film. - Bob M

The 3-4 thing is really now only true about San Diego

but it's not like Manning is the one having problems agaisnt them, it is our defense and special teams. - dmstorm22

Do people still say that about the 3-4?

That really hasn't been true since 05. - Willy Duer

Switching subjects, let's talk "Team of the Decade". The only real choices here are the Pats, Steelers, and Colts. The Colts are the winningest team in football over that span, the Pats have won (and lost) more Super Bowls, and the Steelers are just kind of... There.

I'm thinking if the Colts get to and win the Super Bowl, they're going to leapfrog Pittsburgh and push New England for "Team of the Decade" status. They'll be roughly in the same ballpark, Super Bowl wise, they'll be the most winningest team of the 00s, and have been involved in the most big games.

Thoughts? - Monkey Business

"Ironically, if Stover hits a game winning field goal against the Colts, he could potentially be helping to keep himself out of the playoffs."

Should say "Ravens." Good point though. Very interesting.

And I would argue that Brady is far more recognizable than Ray Lewis. - Guy.
